in Houston, Texas, nHive’s Data Center- the Hive-
features 65,000 square feet of space with redundant
UPS, air conditioning, generator backup and smoke detection/fire
protection systems. The facility is under 24/7 remote
camera surveillance and security guard patrol
As of November 2003, the facility is home to over 18,000
Windows and Linux servers, which makes The Hive the
world's largest dedicated hosting data center.
Bandwidth Reliability
The Hive is connected to the Internet through 14 Gigabit
Ethernet links from multiple backbone providers, who
each run fiber optic cable into the data center through
two separate entry points. Makeing The Hive one of the
most reliable datacenters in the world.

Staff
Our staff is working around the clock to ensure that
the network is operating at optimum state. We continually
review collected statistics to watch for traffic trends
so that we can react with the proper routing adjustments
and bandwidth addition.
Security
Access is controlled around-the-clock by armed security
personnel. Entry to the datacenter is controlled by
fingerprint biometric entry access scanners. The facility
is monitored 24x7 by humans and sensors using numerous
security cameras and playback monitors located throughout
the center.
